SpongeBob Scene Setter Decoration Set is a must-have for an underwater-themed party. And what would SpongeBob say about a party without table decorations or a pinata? Barnacles, that’s what! You can also hang blue streamers from the ceiling to resemble waves and green ones for seaweed. And, of course, don’t forget to play SpongeBob music in the background!

Food & Drink

What better food to put on SpongeBob Classic Square Dinner Plates than fish sticks, SpongeBob Pirate’s Booty popcorn, goldfish crackers, and Krusty Krab Cakes (actual crab cakes or hamburgers). You can also make yellow cake cupcakes with yellow frosting and showcase them on the SpongeBob Cupcake Stand.

And most of all … have F.U.N. the SpongeBob way:

F is for friends who do stuff together
U is for you and me
N is for anywhere and anytime at all
Down here in the deep blue sea!

Add some red, white, and blue balloons, ceiling streamers, and the Avengers Assemble Wall Decorating Kit, and your superhero will feel right at home. Have some fun bowls of kid’s favorite snacks with creative food labels such as “Super Nachos”, “Brain Power”, “Muscle Boosters”, “Memory Bites”, “Slam Burgers”, and “Captain Jelly” etc. Drinks for the superheroes would have to be a “Power punch”!

For healthier options, prepare a superpower station with a variety of colorful fruits! All superheroes need to replenish their powers, and what better way to do so than with a snack tray of fruits and vegetables with little labels that tell each hero how it strengthens them (e.g. carrots = “supervision;” blueberries = “super mind”). And we all know what a mess those Avengers can sometimes make, so the Avengers Plastic Tablecover is a must for any party!

For extra fun, you can unite the whole team than by giving each guest their own Avengers Mask! If budget allows, you can create a cape station where kid’s can choose which favorite superhero they want to be for that day!

Planning a party can sometimes be stressful, but our favorite snowman inspires so many fun-filled party ideas, it’ll be easy to get caught-up in the festivities. Olaf would encourage you to let it go, make it your own, and snowball the following ideas into your own memorable party.

Invitations

Send out an invite to guests asking, “Would you like to build a snowman?” Then, on the inside, it could read, “Then come join the fun with Olaf and friends at _____’s birthday party! And be sure to bring warm hugs!” You could also make each invite in the shape of a snowflake or include a Felt Snowflake Sticker inside the invite.

Party Decor

With Olaf, you could throw a party with a winter decor or a summer decor since Olaf loves the sun! Definitely get the party started off right with the Disney Olaf Value Party Pack as it contains everything one needs for a party, including plates, cups, napkins, utensils – even balloons and thank- you notes! You could create a “pin the nose on Olaf” game, a “build your own snowman” table with rice crispy treats, and elevate the laughter with an Olaf 3D Pull-String Pinata. Decor can range from blue and white (e.g. lights, streamers, balloons, and snowflakes) to sun, surf, and sand decorations. Be sure to add the Olaf Baloon Bouquet – it’ll definitely give your party a lift.

Food & Drink

Bring together marshmallows, pretzel sticks, black licorice, and baby carrots and you’ve got yourself edible snowmen (no offense to Olaf, of course). Consider making “melted Olaf’s” with greek vanilla yogurt or vanilla pudding cups. You could make blue jello “ice block” jigglers, snowflake cookies, and blue icing-dipped pretzel sticks. For dessert you could have hot chocolate and s’mores, or get an Olaf-themed birthday cake!

Whatever you include in your party, the one thing that Olaf would insist on is that you make it happy and fun – with lots of warm hugs.

Lego Birthday Party

What little one can resist the awesomeness of a Lego Birthday Party? Crackers Art took this classic theme and made it a personalize adventure for the birthday boy. With an emphasis on the vibrant multitude of colors that Legos is known for, the venue for this party was a spectacular arrangement of fun. Each detail was personalized with Lego tags and adorable Lego features that were sure to impress the kids who got to attend. The treat table was a wonder, perfectly organized and each food was a sweet addition that brought the theme to life.

Crackers LEGO Birthday Party cake

The cake was a vision of Lego excitement, a number 5 made to look like construction was going on. This innovative idea was certainly an impressive way to give the theme a unique twist.

Sarah’s take on the party:

When I asked my son Harvey what theme he wanted for his 5th birthday party, he jumped at the chance of having a Lego party before his big brother stole the theme for his own party the following month. I was thrilled because I’d been dying to create a Lego-inspired party and I really wanted to put a unique spin on it. I’d seen some fabulous Lego parties on the web, but I wanted ours to reflect everything my boys love about Lego with plenty of in-your-face colour.

I designed all of the party printables and then tied in all of the food into the same colour scheme. There were two separate tables:  the dessert buffet, and a smaller snack table which I directed the kids to when they arrived. They also had a sit-down lunch of hot food and sandwiches before it was time to hit the dessert buffet.

I usually attempt the cake and cookies myself, but this time I enlisted the skills of Lisa from ‘Cakes & Biscuits By Lisa’. I provided Lisa a design for the cookies, and we discussed ideas back and forth about a cake design. The birthday boy’s big brother made the Lego tractor and truck for the cake, so it was lovely to add that personal touch. We left it in Lisa’s capable hands and the cake turned out perfectly and exactly as I’d pictured. Harvey and his friends absolutely loved it!

For party games we had a ‘Draw Your Own Lego Character’ colouring competition, a ‘Pin the Brick in the Wall’ game (our Lego version of ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’), free-range Lego on the lounge room rug, and some Lego tower-building races. I also created the graphics for the games myself, which I kept simple and effective. The party guests took home small treat bags of candy, wrapped chocolate bars, and a big smile 🙂 .

Under the Sea Birthday Splash

This Under the Sea Birthday Splash was gorgeously created by Dairing Events.  Bringing elegance and soft colors together in a fantastic venue, this sweet party was sure to be a blast.

Under the Sea Birthday Splash table setting with bubbles running

The tables set up for the attendees were lovely, with beige tablecloths that make a sweet setting for the clear dishware and colorful centerpieces. White chairs were used for the guests to sit in, emphasizing the lighthearted appeal of the theme.

A fantastic personalized birthday banner was displayed in blue and orange right in front of windows, taking advantage of the natural lighting that seeped through the blinds.

There was a table set up in the center with sweets that had a soft blue tablecloth, bringing that sea color to the room perfectly. With delicious candies like rock candy this table was a delicious and beautiful addition to the room. Each treat was labeled with a personalized tag that matched the banner.

A buffet was arranged in a long rectangle, making it simple for everyone to line up and grab some munchies. With a layering of dark and beige for the base, the colorful food and natural plant life stood out in a lovely manner. There was a wide assortment of options to try out from finger sandwiches to salad. A scattering of fun blue and white circles were placed around the table to bring the theme in nicely. There were even adorable mini-bottles of water to enjoy that had labels calling it Sipable Seaspray, adding fun that everyone could enjoy.

One unique feature that really emphasized the Under the Sea idea was a display of hanging clear decorative balls that looked like little bubbles hanging throughout the room.  With an array of white hanging lanterns mixed in, the entire venue was decorated from top to bottom.
