Wizard of Oz Birthday

The Wizard of Oz is not only a true classic but it also makes a wonderful theme for a little girl’s special birthday! Party Lab Miami along with a team of experts planned and executed this spectacular party with colors and decor that was sure to impress.

Wizard of Oz party decorations

The treat table was pure imagination come to life in a brilliant display of colors and details that made it truly one of a kind. A backdrop was created with long folds of fabric in blue, green, yellow, orange and red, giving a contemporary rainbow look.  The lighting in the room gave the impression of spotlights over the fabric, really illuminating it perfectly.

A mini-Emerald City was the centerpiece for this table, bringing to life a blast of glamor and fun that any kid could love. With adorable trees on each side, it was well accented. A yellow brick road was even created coming down the middle of the table to add to the realistic approach to this lovely theme.

The cake made for the party was phenomenal. Four layers of excitement frosted to look like a miniature set from the movie with a yellow brick road leading to the city.  Each layer represented one of the fun characters from the movie, giving this cake a twist that was gorgeous and innovative.

Other details that made this party a true stand-out included little miniatures of the whole gang standing on the path as if on their adventure already, there were even replica poppies spread over greenery to reflect a sleepy movie scene.

Each little treat was labeled in a fun, curly font that fit the theme nicely. Of course all of the tasty edibles went with the Wizard of Oz as well, little golden square macaroons to look like the brick road. Sugar cookies were shaped and frosted into badges, chocolate pops were even decorated to look like tasty little apples!

Nautical Themed Birthday Adventure

Anchors Away! This stylish Nautical Themed Birthday Party was a sailor’s dream with all of the fun favorites you could want at a celebration. Created by Stylish Party Ideas, this venue was a wonderfully arranged gathering in a classic layout.

Nautical Themed Birthday Adventure cake

Blue, red and white were the colors of the room, boldly displayed throughout the venue.  A fantastic idea used was taking crepe paper strips and hanging them vertically down the wayy in blue and white, giving that neat patterned look while adding bold color to the walls. In front of them a cute flag banner was hung with a lovely arrangement of patterns and colors. To finish up the wall balloons were bundled together and placed perfectly to the side.

The snack table was great with all sorts of details that made it look like a blast of Nautical fun.  It was covered in a light blue cloth, giving an oceanic effect and instead of just covering the top of the table it went all the way to the floor.  A wide ride runner was placed vertically down the center for a unique look.

Making clean-up a breeze paper plates and napkins were used and they were absolutely adorable in stripes and polka dots for the guests to enjoy.  They coordinated perfectly with the cups and straws that were also striped in red, white and blue colors .  The table had a simplistic approach that made it easy for everyone to grab and go.  Delicious bags of popcorn waited to be munched on.

In the center of the table a neat little chalkboard was set-up with a celebratory message and a giant letter L was placed to the side for effect. A memo pad was placed out so everyone could leave the birthday boy special messages, giving this party a unique twist that was sure to be cherished. And of course for the centerpiece, a delicious cake was waiting for everyone to try out!

Under the Sea First Birthday Party

Sweet Event Styling by Thanh brought the wonder of sea life to the surface with this marvelous Under the Sea First Birthday Adventure! A vast array of details were put together to give an aquatic effect to the treat table that was nothing short of amazing.

A backdrop was made with the underwater theme in fantastic aqua colors and artwork that really made it a centerpiece to the entire table.

Under the Sea First Birthday Party dessert table decorations and treats

Instead of using a standard cover for the table, Sweet Event Styling by Thanh took advantage of the sandy marbleized look and built an ocean on top so it looked like the bottom of the sea.

The use of flowers to give a natural aqua effect was pure brilliance.  Filling in all of the spaces with gorgeous arrangements of different types produced an abundant beauty that stood out perfectly.  Macaroons were made in green and pink, left open partway to look like clams and then they were piled on a tiered tray topped with a wonderful mermaid tail, ensuring that this treat doubled as a fantastic decoration.

The cake made for the party was phenomenal with two layers, the bottom one scalloped in fondant with varying tones to make it look just like a mermaid tail and the top had an adorable little bow.  It was set on a cake tray with brown sugar and candy shells making it look like a beach.  With Ariel and Prince Eric perched precisely in front of the cake, this treat was definitely a show-stopper.

Jurassic Park Birthday

Harmonius Events took the fun to a new level with this adventurous Jurassic Park birthday party, creating an exciting area for kids to enjoy.  Taking advantage of a large, outdoor space, this birthday set-up was like a scene from the hit movie, ensuring that everyone would know the theme right away.

Jurassic Park Birthday welcome gate

Along one side of the yard a wonderful large gate was diy’d to mimic the movie with a giant Jurassic Park sign right above it.  Beside the gate plants were set up on each side with little dinosaur signs. In addition, giant dinosaurs lurked overhead with toothy grins!

For a guaranteed blast of fun, a giant bouncy house was put into the yard, so the kids could jump as much as they wanted to.

The tables for the guests were classically simple with interchanging black and red tablecloths and lovely white chairs.  Each table had an adorable dinosaur as the centerpiece.

Some neat features at this party included a table covered in black that dinosaurs were set on top of guarding their nest in the cents.  The eggs were set-up in various stages so you could see the baby dinos for a fun effect. Another was taking large black fabric and covering a wall, and then placing giant green leaves over the whole thing.

Each of the snacks and beverages was labelled to match the theme with fun names like Dino Bones for pretzel sticks and Watering Hole for the bottled water. Everything was set-up with lots of space so the kids could reach it all easily.

A favorite activity used at this party was a photo station that was made so the kids could have a way to remember the adventure forever. It was perfectly decorated with hanging vines, tiki torches to each side, dinosaur signs and of course the scary smoke for effect.

Minnie-Rella Birthday Party

Using a mash-up of two favorite classics, Got Sweetz came up with a theme that was both fabulous and unique for celebrating this little one’s birthday. Because the special birthday girl loved Minnie Mouse, it only made sense to have the theme center around her and incorporating a princess idea really emphasized the sweetness of the idea. So, Got Sweetz found an adorable picture of Minnie Mouse dressed as Cinderella and this Minnierella themed birthday party came to life.

Minnie-Rella Birthday Party ideas

The photo found was placed in a fantastic frame that was diy painted in silver to match the theme colors. It was then used as a centerpiece to the backdrop made for the dessert table. With soft blue and white crepe paper hanging in vertical strips on the wall, the photo was accented beautifully. The table was covered in an elegant fashion with a white cover lined with a lovely blue runner.

With a traditional layout of treats on tall and short trays, each treat was easily accessible as well as theme-based and delicious looking. Alicia’s Delicias made adorable looking sugar cookies frosted in blue and white which were set on a cute little tray in the center of the table. Mini-cheesecake  bites were contributed by the Incredebites adding a sweet that is unique to the party scene.  A fresh take on pretzels was used by Joy Cake Pops who used caramel to wrap them rather than chocolate for a treat that was sure to be loved.  With a variety of other tasty options, this table was full of decadence that any kid could love.

The cake was a true beauty with three layers of detail and bold colors topped with Cinderella’s carousel. It was set on a wonderful, blue cake tray allowing it to take the stage fantastically.
